Beef Tikka Masala
There is no shortcut to good Kerala beef. The spices are toasted, the shallots are browned, and the meat is given the time it needs to become tender and deeply flavoured.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 500 g Beef Cooked in 1 tbsp chilly powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and salt
- Ginger small pc
- 4 Cloves Garlic
- 3 nos Green chilly
- 1 tsp Fennel seeds
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 2 tsp Chilly powder
- Salt
- 3 nos Shallots
- 1/2 inch Piece Cinnamon
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing delicious Beef Tikka Masala, first take all the ingredients for grinding - ginger, garlic, green chilly, fennel seeds, shallots and cinnamon. Grind well and make a paste.
Step 2
Marinate the cooked beef in the ground paste and all remaining powdered masalas - turmeric powder and chilly powder.
Step 3
Stir everything together thoroughly and keep the beef aside for a few minutes.
Step 4
Convert the marinated cooked beef into a kadai or pan and pour 1/4 cup water. Continue cooking for 10 to 15 minutes in low flame. Make the dish semi dry and well roasted. Oil pops up to the surface and you can smell the lingering aroma of the exotic dish.
Step 5
Now the And spicy dish is ready. The dish is a favorite variety dish especially with teenagers.
Tip
The coconut pieces should get slightly crispy along with the beef. They add a textural contrast that makes the dish.
