Beef Pepper Fry
A spicy dish that goes perfect with porotta, chappati and even rice. The peppery flavored aromatic Beef Pepper Fry is simply irresistible and tempting.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 1/2 kg Beef
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 2 nos Onions cut long
- 3 nos Green chillies
- 1" piece Ginger — minced
- 2 nos Garlic cloves — minced
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Chilly powder
- 1 tbsp Pepper powder
- 2 Stems Curry leaves
- Salt, to taste
- 2 Stems Coriander leaves
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing Beef Pepper Fry, first mix together beef with chilly powder, turmeric powder and required salt and pressure cook.
Step 2
Warm the oil in a pan.
Step 3
Fry onions till brown in colour.
Step 4
Add green chilly cut lengthwise.
Step 5
Add coriander powder, pepper powder, curry leaves, ginger and garlic and fry well.
Step 6
When a nice aroma comes, add the cooked beef.
Step 7
Fry till the water evaporates.
Step 8
Garnish Beef Pepper Fry with coriander leaves.
Tip
Thin strips cook faster and develop more crispy surface area than thick cubes. Cut against the grain for tenderness.
