Beef Fry - Simple & Delicious
Beef Fry – Simple & is an awesome dish, with a flavorful and aromatic flavor. Beef Fry can be ed with porotta, chappatis etc. Beef Fry is unique and with cooked beef roasted dry with naturally available aromatic ingredients.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 400 g Beef — cut into small cubes
- 1 nos Onion diced finely, medium
- 1 inch Ginger
- 8 - Garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Meat masala any mallu brand like Eastern, Melam
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 3/4 tsp Pepper powder
- 1 tbsp Coconut slices — cut into thin squares
- 1 sprig Curry leaves
- 2 tbsp Oil
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing Beef Fry - Simple & Delicious, cook together beef cubes, diced onion, finely chopped or crushed ginger and garlic, turmeric powder and salt in a pressure cooker with minimum water.
Step 2
After opening the pressure cooker, if there is still water turn on the fire till it gets completely dry.
Step 3
In a separate pan, heat the meat masala and coriander powder in low fire for 1 - 2 minutes.
Step 4
Add pepper powder to this.
Step 5
Add this masala to the cooked beef and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 6
Warm the oil in a kadai.
Step 7
Add the beef and curry leaves. Keep in low fire for about 10 minutes.
Step 8
Lightly fry the coconut pieces and add it to the prepared beef.
Step 9
Add the curry leaves too. Beef Fry - Simple & Delicious is ready.
Tip
Coconut oil is not optional in a Kerala fry. It adds a flavour that no other oil can replicate.
