Beef Cutlet
Crispy, golden, and gone before they cool down — these fried snacks are the kind of thing that appears with evening tea and disappears within minutes. Best eaten hot, right out of the oil.
Ingredientsfor 15 servings
- ½ kg Beef
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
- Potato ¾ kg
- Turmeric powder A pinch
- 3 nos Onions chopped, big
- 6 nos Green chillies — chopped
- 2 large Ginger — chopped
- 1 cup Coriander leaves — chopped
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- 1 nos Lemon
- 1 nos Egg
- Breadcrumbs
- Salt, to taste
- Oil — for frying
Preparation
Step 1
Cook potatoes with little salt, turmeric powder and enough water.
Step 2
Mash them well.
Step 3
Cook beef with ginger-garlic paste and salt, till done.
Step 4
Heat some oil in a pan.
Step 5
Fry onions, till brownish.
Step 6
Add green chillies, ginger and coriander leaves and fry for some time.
Step 7
Add the cooked beef and little pepper and cook for some time.
Step 8
Take it off the heat. and let it cool.
Step 9
Grind it dry in a grinder.
Step 10
Mix together the above ground beef mix and mashed potatoes.
Step 11
Add juice of a lemon to it and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 12
Make cutlets off the mixture.
Step 13
Dip them in beaten egg and roll in bread crumbs.
Step 14
Fry in hot oil Beef Cutlet in oil.
Step 15
Beef Cutlet is ready.
Step 16
Server Beef Cutlet hot.
Tip
Oil temperature is critical. Too hot and the outside burns before the inside cooks. Too cool and the snack absorbs oil and turns soggy.
