Beansprout Salad
A fresh, crunchy side that adds a cool contrast to the spiced dishes on a Kerala meal plate. Light seasoning, fresh ingredients, and a simplicity that lets each component speak for itself.
Ingredientsfor 6 servings
- 250 g Beans
- 1 nos Onion sliced — roasted
- 2 nos Green chillies
- 1/4 cup Thick coconut milk
- 2 tsp Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Coconut — grated
- Chilly garlic sauce - 4 tbsp
- 2 tbsp Spring onion
- 2 tbsp Onion — roasted
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing beansprout, boil water in a frying pan and add beans to this boiling water and drain after 2 minutes.
Step 2
Mix all the ingredients: onion, thick coconut milk, lemon juice, grated coconut, chilly-garlic sauce and cooked beans together in a bowl except chillies, spring onion and roasted onion.
Step 3
Garnish with the rest of ingredients and serve.
Step 4
Beansprout salad is ready.
