Ingredientsfor 6 servings
- All purpose flour - 1 cup
- 1 tbsp Granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder
- 2 large Eggs
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 12 small Size bananas
Preparation
Step 1
Sift flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a small bowl.
Step 2
In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and the 2 tablespoons of oil. Combine this with the sugar-flour mix. Stir until all the flour is moistened.
Step 3
Place bananas in bowl with batter, coat well. With fingers, drop bananas into at least 2 inches of heated (375 degree/190 degree C vegetable oil on fry in hot oiling thermometer) in a fry in hot oiling pan or a fry in hot oiler.
Step 4
Sprinkle topped with sugar powder / icing sugar.
Tip
Hard-boil the eggs first, then make shallow cuts on the surface before adding them to the gravy — this lets the masala flavour penetrate inside.
