Banana Fritters

- 3 nos Ripe banana
- 3 nos Cardamom — crushed
- 2 piece Jaggery
- Oil, to taste
- 1 cup Flour
Preparation
Step 1
Melt the jaggery with little water.
Step 2
Mash the bananas.
Step 3
Add the cardamom.
Step 4
Add melted jiggery to banana.
Step 5
Add flour to it.
Step 6
Mix it into a thick batter.
Step 7
Get a spoonful and fry in hot oil, till done.
Tip
When the recipe says "medium heat," it means medium. Kerala cooking is not about high-flame drama — most of the work happens at a patient, steady temperature.
