Banana Dosa - Easy Breakfast
Crispy on the edges, soft in the middle — this banana dosa - easy breakfast is a breakfast staple across Kerala. The batter comes together quickly and the dosa cooks in under a minute on a hot tawa.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 1 nos Jaggery Sharkara
- 100 g Rice flour
- 3 nos Banana — mashed
- Salt A pinch
- Oil, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing banana dosa, first caramelize jaggery with water and strain.
Step 2
Mix rice flour, jaggery syrup and banana well.
Step 3
Mix salt and little water.
Step 4
Make dosa out of it and serve.
Step 5
Banana dosa is ready.
Tip
The pan must be properly hot before you pour the batter. Sprinkle a few drops of water — if they sizzle and evaporate immediately, the temperature is right.
