Bakery Chicken Cutlet
These are simply the round shaped cutlets with Chicken and potatoes which are coated in bread crumbs and fried in oil.Spicy Bakery style cutlets are a favourite tea time snack that can be easily prepared in our home,we just require a little bit free time to prepare.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 1 cup Chicken cooked and — shredded
- 3 Potatoes cooked and — mashed
- 3 Green chilly — chopped
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam masala
- 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
- Curry leaves, a few
- Bread crumbs
- 2 Egg
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Warm the oil in a pan and add onion and ginger garlic paste,cook until the onion goes golden brown.
Step 2
Add chopped green chilly, all masalas and mashed potatoes.Stir everything together thoroughlysp.ylp.
Step 3
Add shredded chicken,chopped coriander leaves and Fold everything together gently.turn off the heat.
Step 4
Knead it well with your hand.
Step 5
Shape it into half inch size flat cutlets.
Step 6
Dip the cutlets in beaten egg.
Step 7
Cover it in bread crumbs.
Step 8
Again dip each cutlets in egg and bread crumbs so that the each cutlets have a thich coating with bread crumbs.
Step 9
Set a kadai over medium heat and pour in the oil and fry each cutlets until nice brown in colour.
Step 10
Bakery style cutlet is ready.
Tip
Bone-in chicken gives a richer, more flavourful gravy than boneless. The marrow flavours the curry as it cooks.
