Ada Dosa - All Will Like This
Golden-brown and lightly crisp, this dosa is the kind of breakfast that works on busy mornings and lazy weekends alike. The batter keeps well in the fridge for two to three days.
Ingredientsfor 5 servings
- 1 glass Raw rice
- 1/4 glass Red gram (Thuvaraparippu)
- 1/4 glass Black gram (Uzhunnu)
- 5 - Red chillies (Kollamulaku)
- 5 nos Green chillies
- 10 nos Small onions (Kunjulli)
- Drumstick leaves Few, Muringa ela
- 2 sprig Curry leaves
- Salt, to taste
- Oil, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Put rice, dals and red chillies in water around 1 hr.
Step 2
After 1 hr, grind this.
Step 3
Do not grind too much.
Step 4
Cut green chilli, onions, drumstick leaves and curry leaves into small pieces and add this into the batter.
Step 5
Add salt and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 6
Heat 3 spoons of oil in a pan or a kadai.
Step 7
Pour the dosa batter and cook both the sides, till it becomes golden brown color.
Step 8
It is a good snack as a whole and there is no need of any chutney too!
Tip
A well-seasoned cast iron or non-stick tawa makes all the difference. If the dosa sticks, your pan needs more seasoning or the temperature is too low.
