Veg Korma
A home-style Kerala dish made with care and the kind of spice knowledge that comes from watching someone else cook it a hundred times. Each step matters, and the result is worth the effort.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 2 nos Potato
- 2 nos Carrots
- 4 nos Beans
- 1/2 cup Peas
- 1/2 Of Beetroot
- 1 nos Onion big
- 1 nos Tomato big
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- Salt, to taste
- Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
- Coriander leaves
- Curry leaves
Preparation
Step 1
Heat the oil in a pressure cooker.
Step 2
Fry ginger-garlic paste.
Step 3
Add onions & tomatoes and fry for sometime.
Step 4
Add all veg along with chilli powder, salt & turmeric powder.
Step 5
Pour enough water to cover veg.
Step 6
Pressure cook for about 5 minutes.
Step 7
After 10 minutes, open it.
Step 8
Add garam masala, curry leaves and coriander leaves.
Step 9
Heat it again for 2 - 3 minutes without lid.
Step 10
Give it a good stir till it becomes a thick curry.
