Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 50 g Shallots
- 50 g Garlic
- 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
- Jaggery, to taste
- 3 cup Water
Preparation
Step 1
Clean and wash the shallots and garlic.
Step 2
Cook the shallots and garlic in water till soft and well cooked.
Step 3
Add jaggery into it and cook again for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Add pepper powder,cumin powder,cook for 2 more minutes and take it off the heat.
Step 5
Ulliyum Sharkarayum is ready.have this twice a day for 3 days.
Tip
Coconut oil is the default cooking fat in Kerala kitchens. It adds a depth of flavour that other oils simply cannot match in these recipes.
