Sweet Bread Sandwich | 5-Minute Sweet Breakfast Sandwich
A traditional Kerala sweet that balances richness with restraint. Made with jaggery, coconut, and a careful hand, the sweetness is warm rather than overwhelming — the kind of flavour that lingers.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 2 tbsp Milk powder
- 4 tbsp Warm Water
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Grated coconut
- 4 slices Bread
Preparation
Step 1
Mix milk powder in warm water. give it a good stir.
Step 2
Heat ghee in a pan and place a bread slice on it. Then sprinkle some sugar.
Step 3
Add some grated coconut evenly and spread the milk powder mix evenly. Keep the flame low.
Step 4
Place another bread slice on top of it and flip it. Toast that side too and take it off the heat.
Step 5
Serve immediately.
Tip
Ghee quality matters enormously in traditional sweets. Use homemade ghee if you can — the flavour is incomparably richer.
