Spinach Corn Thoran
This is a tasty and healthy recipe.Spinach is good for health.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 1 cup Spinach — chopped (cheera)
- 1/2 cup Coconut — grated
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 1 tsp Urad dal
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Salt
- 4 tsp Cooked corn
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
Preparation
Step 1
Warm the oil in a kadai add mustard seeds.When mustards allow to crackles add red chilli and.Let it cook for 2 minutes.
Step 2
Add chopped and clean spinach to this and Let it cook for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Grind grated coconut,cumin seeds,onion and chilly in a mixer.
Step 4
Add this ground mix to the pan add salt and Stir everything together thoroughly together and stir for 2 minutes in slow flame.
Step 5
Add corn and chilli powder to this stir for a minute.
Step 6
Add turmeric powder also and stir until water gets compleatly dried.
Step 7
Now Spinach corn thoran is ready.
Tip
Shred the vegetable as fine as you can — the thinner the cuts, the better the thoran. A sharp knife makes all the difference.
