Sole Fish Fry
Sole fish known as Manthal in malayalam is a best source of protein.its best to fry the fish just before serving.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 250 g Sole fish
- 11/2 tsp Red chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Clean the fish by peeling off its skin, cut the sides of head and wash it nicely.
Step 2
Add chilly powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,ginger garlic paste and salt to taste.
Step 3
Marinate the fish in masala and keep it for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Pour oil into a pan and heat it and fry both sides till golden brown.
Step 5
Sole fish fry is ready to serve.
Tip
A heavy-bottomed pan or cast iron skillet gives you the best results for a proper Kerala fry. Thin pans burn the spices before the meat dries.
