Simple Thari Kanji
Kanji recipe. it¦s a ramzan special drink that muslims serve during breaking fast.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 1/2 cup Semolina
- 2 tbsp Shallots — chopped (Kunjulli)
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 2 cup Coconut milk 2nd
- 1 cup Coconut milk 1st
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing simple thari kanji, heat ghee and fry semolina.
Step 2
Add coconut milk(2nd) and cook the semolina.
Step 3
When it thickens, add coconut milk 1st and add salt.
Step 4
Heat 1 tsp ghee and fry the shallots and add to kanji and serve.
Step 5
Simple thari kanji is ready.
Tip
Fresh curry leaves make a genuine difference. Dried curry leaves are a poor substitute — if you cannot get fresh ones, increase the quantity and fry them longer.
