Simple Fried Chicken

Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- Chicken
- 1 cup Maida
- Cornflou r 2 tblsn
- 1 Tspn Ginger paste
- 1 Tspn Garlic paste
- 2 Egg
- Oil — for frying
- 1 cup Oats
- Salt, to taste
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Chilly pwde
- 1/4 tsp Garam masala
Preparation
Step 1
Rinse the cut pieces of chicken and leave to drain a while.
Step 2
In a bowl add red chilly powder, Turmeric powder,maidha,corn flour,salt and garam masala.
Step 3
Next, add chicken pieces,ginger garlic paste and eggs.
Step 4
Toss well and make sure there is sufficient salt.
Step 5
Coat each chicken pieces in oats.
Step 6
Warm the oil in a pan and add the chicken pieces,turn the heat down to medium low.leave undisturbed for the first 3 minutes and gently turn over.cook till done or golden brown.
Step 7
Serve while still hot with garlic paste and bun.
Tip
Marinate for at least 30 minutes if you can — the spices penetrate deeper and the chicken stays juicier.
