Red Chilly Egg Curry
Red chilly egg curry is the best and simple way to serve rrcipe in less time,when you have sudden gusts this will prove one of the best way to fill your dining table.serve with chappati,naan,roti etc.
Ingredientsfor 5 servings
- 5 Egg hard boiled and peel off their shells
- 2 Onion
- 3 Tomato
- 3 Green chilly
- 5 Shallots
- 1 Clove Garlic
- 2 tsp Red chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Mustard
- 3 tbsp Oil
- Coriander leaves little
- Curry leaves little
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Gather all the ingredients and set aside.
Step 2
Set a pan over medium heat and pour in the oil and add mustard in it,when it starts allow to crackleing add shallots and garlic into it.fry it for a minute and set aside.
Step 3
Warm the oil in a pan,add onion and cook until it has softened and lightly browned.
Step 4
Add tomato,green chilli and cook again for 3-4 minutes.
Step 5
Add red chilly powder,turmeric powder,salt and cook until the raw smell disappears.
Step 6
Add water,curry leaves,coriander leaves and let it boil.
Step 7
When it starts boil,cut the egg into two pieces and add into it. Cook it till the gravy gets thicken.
Step 8
Take it off the heat. and serve hot.
Tip
Coconut oil and curry leaves at the very end, off the heat, give the curry its characteristic Kerala aroma. Never skip this final step.
