Pudina Chutney | Mint Chutney
A condiment prepared from mint leaves. Addition of coriander leaves aids in lowering the strong aromatic flavor and aroma of mint leaves making it palatable.
Ingredientsfor 5 servings
- 1/4 cup Mint leaves Pudina
- 3/4 cup Coconut — grated
- Ginger a small piece
- 2 nos Green chillies
- 1/2 tbsp Coriander leaves
- 2 nos Shallots (Kunjulli)
- Curry leaves, a few
- Lime juice, to taste
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing Pudina Chutney, grind together mint leaves, grated coconut, ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves, shallots and curry leaves.
Step 2
Add lime juice and required salt to the ground mixture. Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 3
Pudina chutney, an apt side dish for biriyani, is ready.
