Oats Dosa
Oats, rice, urad dal and other ingredients are soaked, ground and spread into pancakes.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 100 g Oats
- 1 tbsp Urad dal
- 2 tbsp Rice
- 1/4 tsp Fenugreek seeds
- Ghee/oil, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- 1 nos Green chilly chopped, chilly used to make bajji
- 1 tsp Coriander/curry leaves — chopped
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing oats dosa, soak rice, urad dal and fenugreek seeds for 5 hours and grind till smooth with oats adding required water. Set aside for 4 hours.
Step 2
Add salt, chopped chilly and coriander/curry leaves. Dosa batter is ready.
Step 3
Place a non stick pan on fire and spread ladle full of batter into it and make thin dosa.
Step 4
Sprinkle some oil or ghee and flip the dosa.
Step 5
Remove from pan when both sides are done and crispy.
Step 6
Oats dosa is ready. Serve hot with some chutney.
Tip
The pan must be properly hot before you pour the batter. Sprinkle a few drops of water — if they sizzle and evaporate immediately, the temperature is right.
