Njendu (crab) Mulakittath (Step By Step Photos)

Ingredientsfor 5 servings
- 500 g Crab
- 1 nos Onion
- 1 nos Tomato
- 2 nos Green chilly
- Curry leaves, to taste
- 1/4 tsp Ginger
- 4 Pods Garlic
- Salt, to taste
- Oil, to taste
- 2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Chilly powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
Preparation
Step 1
Heat the oil in clay pot.
Step 2
Cook onions, ginger and garlic in it.
Step 3
Add tomato, green chilly and sautT again.
Step 4
Add the roasted masala, salt and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 5
Add water and stir.
Step 6
Next, add the cleaned crab and Put the lid on and cook for 15-20 minutes.
Step 7
Add curry leaves and take it from flame.
Step 8
Serve it hot with rice or kanji.
Tip
Never stir a fish curry with a spoon. Shake the pot gently to coat the pieces — stirring breaks them apart.
