Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 10 nos Gooseberries take the seed out
- 5 nos Dry Red Chilli fried
- 1 small Ginger
- 10 nos Onion small
- 1/2 piece Coconut — grated
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Grind the fried red chillie in a gridning stone.
Step 2
Grind the Ginger and gooseberries in a grinding stone like paste.
Step 3
Add onion also to the mixture and grind.
Step 4
Add Coconut and Salt to the above micture.
Step 5
Grind all together and make like a medium paste.
Tip
When the recipe says "medium heat," it means medium. Kerala cooking is not about high-flame drama — most of the work happens at a patient, steady temperature.
