Nadan Vazhuthananga Masala

Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 2 cup Brinjal
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 Onion
- 4 Green chilies
- 1 tsp Gram masala
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- 1 tsp Salt
Preparation
Step 1
Wash brinjal and set aside.Heat the oil in a kadai and add cumin seeds and onions Let it cook for 2 minutes.
Step 2
Add green chilies to this and Let it cook for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Add washed brinjal to this add 1/2 cup water and Let it cook for 5 minutes until they become tender and cooked. Add turmeric powder and salt and Let it cook for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Next, add pepper powder and gram masala and Let it cook for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Nadan vazhuthananga masala is ready.

The binding point is everything — cook the mixture just until it holds shape when pressed. Overcooked, it turns hard; undercooked, it crumbles.
