Mutton Liver Masala | Kaleji Masala

Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 250 g Mutton liver Small pieces
- 1 nos Onion Finely chopped, big
- 2 nos Tomato — finely chopped
- 2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
- 2 tbsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Everest mutton masala
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Coriander leaves — for garnishing
Preparation
Step 1
Wash the mutton liver pieces thoroughly and drain water.
Step 2
Pour oil into a pan and heat it or a kadai.
Step 3
Add onion and ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
Step 4
Add tomatoes and cook until a little oil is released.
Step 5
Add all the masala.
Step 6
Finally add the liver and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 7
Keep stirring occasionally for 10 - 15 minutes on low heat until the masala turns brown.
Step 8
Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
Step 9
Goes well with bread or roti.
Tip
Whole spices — cardamom, cloves, cinnamon — go in early with the oil. They need time to infuse their flavour into the fat.
