Mushroom Theeyal
This is a tasty and healthy recipe.All mushroom lovers love this recipe.This is as good as non vegetarian curry.This curry is similar to vegetable theeyal.
Ingredientsfor 6 servings
- 1 cup Mushroom
- 1/2 cup Coconut — grated
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 Onion
- 2 Tomato
- 4 Green chilli
- 1 tsp Coconut oil
- 1 cup Water
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 2 Red chilli
Preparation
Step 1
Pour oil into a kadai and heat it add onions Let it cook for 2 minutes.
Step 2
Add tomatoes and green chilli and Let it cook for 3 minutes.
Step 3
Add mushroomes to this and cook until raw smell disappears.
Step 4
In another kadai add grated coconut coriander powder,turmeric powder and chilli powder fry for 2 minutes until it becomes brown colour.
Step 5
Ground this in a mixer.
Step 6
Add this ground mix to the mushroom mix in the kadai.
Step 7
Stir everything together thoroughly add water and let it bubble for 5 minutes until the gravy is thick.
Step 8
Add little more water and let it bubble for 10 minutes.
Step 9
Set a kadai on the stove heat oil and add mustards.When mustards allow to crackles add red chilli to this Let it cook for 1 minutes and add this to mushroom curry.
Step 10
Then let it bubble for 2 minutes.Now mushroom theeyal is ready to serve.
Tip
Let the dish rest for a few minutes after cooking. Flavours settle and meld during this time, and the texture often improves.
