Mulaku Potichathu

Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 7 nos Shallots (Kunjulli)
- 1 nos Green chilly
- Tamarind lemon sized
- Salt, to taste
- Coconut oil, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing mulaku potichathu, crush shallots and green chilly.
Step 2
Squeeze tamarind and extract paste. Mix this paste with above mixture.
Step 3
Add salt and coconut oil.
Step 4
Goes well with rice.
Tip
When the recipe says "medium heat," it means medium. Kerala cooking is not about high-flame drama — most of the work happens at a patient, steady temperature.
