Muffins

Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 1 cup All purpose flour Maida
- 1 nos Egg beaten
- 1/4 cup Milk add more milk if required
- 2 Dsp Butter melted
- 11/2 tsp Baking powder
- 2 tbsp Sugar add more sugar if required — powdered
- Salt A pinch
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing muffins, first blend together beaten egg, milk and butter until just mixed.
Step 2
Add maida flour sifted with baking powder, sugar and a pinch of salt. Mix carefully so that the batter is coarse.
Step 3
Grease muffin pans and fill one fourth with the muffin mixture.
Step 4
Bake at 400 degrees until the top turns golden in color.
Step 5
Easy to prepare muffins are ready.
Tip
When the recipe says "medium heat," it means medium. Kerala cooking is not about high-flame drama — most of the work happens at a patient, steady temperature.
