Mixed Vegetable Cutlet Easy
Coated in a well-seasoned batter and fried to a deep golden colour — the crunch is the whole point. Serve with a cup of strong black tea and watch them disappear.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 2 nos Potatoes sliced, large
- 1 nos Cauliflower — cut into florets, small
- 1/2 cup Green peas
- 2 nos Carrots — sliced
- 2 slice Brown bread — crushed
- Black pepper powder, to taste
- 2 tbsp Cheese — grated
- 2 cup Monaco biscuit crumbs freshly — crushed
- Oil — for frying
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing mixed vegetable cutlet, first boil/steam potatoes, cauliflower, green peas and carrots till done.
Step 2
Mash the veggies well and mix together.
Step 3
Add brown bread, pepper, cheese and required salt. Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 4
Shape into oblong cutlets and fry in hot oil in oil until crisp and golden brown.
Step 5
Mixed vegetable cutlet, a nutritious evening time snack is ready. Serve hot.
Tip
Drain on a wire rack instead of paper towels — the rack keeps the bottom from getting steamy and losing its crispness.
