Minced Chicken Balls
Tender chicken pieces cooked in a thick, spice-heavy gravy built on caramelised shallots and coconut oil. This is the kind of Kerala chicken dish that families argue about — whose mother makes it better.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 1 cup Chicken cooked & — minced
- 1 nos Onion — chopped
- 2 nos Green chillies — chopped
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- 1 tsp Chilly powder
- 2 tsp Pepper
- Salt, to taste
- Coriander leaves — chopped
- 1 nos Egg
- 1 tbsp Corn flour
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing minced chicken balls, in a bowl mix all the ingredients well.
Step 2
Make small balls out of it.
Step 3
Fry it in oil. Serve as a tea time snack.
Step 4
Minced chicken balls is ready.
Tip
Bone-in chicken gives a richer, more flavourful gravy than boneless. The marrow flavours the curry as it cooks.
