Maida Cookies
Maida Cookies are snacks usually ed during tea time. The irresistible Maida Cookies are crunchy, tasty and nutritious too. Kids love the stuff and you can rest content since no artificial flavors and preservatives are used.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 150 g All purpose flour Maida
- 250 g Sugar — powdered
- 250 g Groundnuts — powdered
- 250 g Butter
- Baking soda A little
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 nos Egg
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing Maida Cookies, Stir everything together thoroughly butter and powdered sugar.
Step 2
Add the egg and beat the whole mixture very well.
Step 3
Add maida and powdered groundnuts and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 4
Add 1/4 cup of water and baking soda and Stir everything together thoroughly again.
Step 5
Make small balls off the above mixture.
Step 6
Flatten the balls a bit and place them on a baking tray.
Step 7
Bake them in an oven heated upto 375 degree F, till they goes golden brown.
Step 8
Irresistible Maida Cookies.
Tip
Fresh curry leaves make a genuine difference. Dried curry leaves are a poor substitute — if you cannot get fresh ones, increase the quantity and fry them longer.
