Liver Vattichathu
Liver and other ingredients are added to make liver vattichathu.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 1/2 kg Liver — chopped
- 3 tsp Chilly powder
- 3 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt, to taste
- Water, to taste
- 2 tsp Coconut oil
- 10 nos Shallots chopped, Cheriya ulli
- 4 nos Green chillies — chopped
- 2 inch Ginger — chopped
- 10 Cloves Garlic — chopped
- 4 Springs Curry leaves
- 2 nos Tomatoes — chopped
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- 3 tbsp Coriander leaves — chopped
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing liver vattichathu, take a pressure cooker, add liver pieces, chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt and water. Cook it.
Step 2
Warm coconut oil in a vessel. Fry small onions, green chillies, ginger, garlic and curry leaves.
Step 3
Next, add the tomatoes to it and fry again.
Step 4
When the oil separates, add the cooked liver, pepper powder and coriander leaves to it. take it off the heat.
Step 5
Liver vattichathu is ready. Serve hot with bread, pathiri, ceylon paratha, chapatti etc.
