Kethels Chicken

Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 700 g Spring chicken
- 2 Green chilly
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- 1 tsp Fennel seeds
- 4 Shallots
- 1 tsp Chilly powder
- 1 tsp Rice flour
- 2 tsp Lemon juice
- 7 Dry red chilly
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Coriander leaves, a few
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing Kethels Chicken, first take all the ingredients and keep it ready.
Step 2
Clean the chicken and drain it. Add lemon juice and salt.
Step 3
Add pepper powder and Stir everything together thoroughly. Rest it for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Grind all other ingredients into a smooth paste.
Step 5
Marinate the chicken in the grounded masala and refrigerate it for 1 hour.
Step 6
Heat oil and fry in hot oil the chicken in low flame until cooked. Serve it with puttu, chappathi etc.
Tip
Do not boil the curry hard after adding coconut milk. A gentle simmer is all you need — vigorous boiling can cause the coconut milk to split.
