Kerala Style Fish Fry(Meen)
Hotel fish fry. This is a kerala restaurant style fish fry made with king fish. The fish is fried in coconut oil to get the best taste.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 4 piece Fish preferably king fish
- 1 tbsp Chilly powder
- 1/4 Spoon Turmeric powder
- 2 Stem Curry leaves
- 2 nos Green chillies make chilly paste with 2 chillies
- Ginger paste
- 5 Pods Garlic alli
- 10 nos Black pepper
- Lemon juice from 1/2 of a lemon
Preparation
Step 1
Clean the fish.
Step 2
Mix all the ingredients and grind it.
Step 3
Make it to a paste apply on the fish.
Step 4
Marinate the fish for an hour.
Step 5
Fry the fish in coconut oil.
Step 6
Decorate the kerala style fish fry with finely sliced onions :- Serve the kerala style fish hot! It goes very well with rice.
Tip
Patience at the dry-roasting stage is everything. The longer you let the moisture evaporate, the more concentrated the flavour becomes.
