Kerala Sambaram
Kerala Sambaram (Yoghurt) drink. Great moru drink for a hot day.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 3 cup Medium sour yoghurt
- 1 cup Water
- 1 nos Green chillies
- 1/4 inch Ginger
- Curry leaves, a few
- Salt, to taste
- 1 Bottle Soda — optional
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing kerala sambaram, lightly pulse green chillies, curry leaves and ginger in blender.
Step 2
Add yoghurt and water.
Step 3
Blend again.
Step 4
Strain and pour it in a glass.
Step 5
Add salt and soda.
Step 6
Kerala sambaram is ready.
Step 7
Drink at once.
Tip
Toast the cumin seeds lightly before grinding for a deeper, nuttier flavour in the paste.
