Kerala Fried Chicken
This is one of the chicken Recipe That My entire family Loves.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 500 g Chicken
- 2 tsp Ginger / Garlic paste
- 1 / Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Chilli powder
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- 1 / Garam Masala powder
- 1 / Chicken masala powder — optional
- 1 tbsp Lime juice
- Curry leaves
- Coconut oil for frying
- Salt, as needed
Preparation
Step 1
Marinate the cleaned chicken pieces with all the ingredients along with salt and set aside for 15 - 20 minutes.
Step 2
Warm coconut oil in a fry pan, fry the chicken pieces till the chicken is tender and it gets a brown colour.
Step 3
The chicken fry with rices / chapati.
Tip
Do not boil the curry hard after adding coconut milk. A gentle simmer is all you need — vigorous boiling can cause the coconut milk to split.
