Instant Healthy Ragi Dosa
Ragi is a nutritious grain which is a good food for south india.This is a healthy break fast recipe.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 1/2 cup Ragi flour
- 1 Onion
- 4 Chilli
- 1/4 cup Wheat flour
- 2 Red chilli
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Water
- 1 bunch Coriander leaves
Preparation
Step 1
Mix ragi flour,wheat flour,onions,green chilli,salt in a vessel.
Step 2
Add 1 cup water and salt and give it a good stir properly.
Step 3
Set a kadai over medium heat and pour in the oil add mustard when it allow to crackles add red chilli and curry leaves cook for a minute and add this tempering to ragi batter and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 4
Mix every thing well and keep for a minute.
Step 5
Heat dosa tawa in a medium flame and smear oil on tawa take laddle full of batter pour it over tawa from center to side in circular motion.Drizzle 1 teaspoon of oil around sides of dosa.
Step 6
When one side of dosa cooked turn to other side with spatula.Cook for 30 to 40 seconds in medium flame.
Step 7
Fold and serve this hot ragi dosa with chutney.
Tip
A well-seasoned cast iron or non-stick tawa makes all the difference. If the dosa sticks, your pan needs more seasoning or the temperature is too low.
