Idichakka Poduthval - Brahmin Special
Tender jackfruit, grated coconut and other ingredinets are cooked together.
Ingredientsfor 8 servings
- 1 nos Tender jack fruit Idichakka
- 1 cup Coconut — grated
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 5 nos Green chillies
- 2 tbsp Coconut oil
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tsp Urud dal
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Cut tender jackfruit and wash it well. Boil in cooker by adding turmeric powder and salt.
Step 2
Grind the grated coconut and green chillies by sprinkling water.
Step 3
Fry mustard seeds and urad dal in coconut oil.
Step 4
Make the boiled jack fruit in a smashed form.
Step 5
Add step 4 to step 3.
Step 6
Next, add step 2 and mix it well and cook for a few minutes.
Tip
