- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Cooking Spray
Preparation
Step 1
Mix the ingredients for the 1st rub in a bowl and then apply it to the fish fillets. Keep it on for about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Wash it off well.
Step 3
Squeeze the fillets firmly between the palms of your hands to remove excess water.
Step 4
Stir everything together thoroughly the ingredients for the 2nd rub in a bowl.
Step 5
Apply it all over the fillets, pressing the rub well into the fleshy part.
Step 6
Refrigerate fillets for at least 5 hrs.
Step 7
For cooking, take a electric indoor grill (like George Foreman), plug it in.
Step 8
When it heats up, use the cooking spray on both sides of the non-stick cooking surface, to ensure that the fish will not stick to the grill.
Step 9
Place the fillet, skin side down on the grill and close the grill.
Step 10
The grilled fish should be ready in about 7 - 10 minutes depending on how brown you want it. Serve hot.
Tip
Seafood cooks in minutes. The single biggest mistake is overcooking — the moment fish turns opaque or prawns curl and go pink, they are done.
