Green Peas Pepper Curry
It is one of my favourite Green peas curry goes well with puttu,chapathi etc.Fresh peas with crushed pepper gives this dish a lovely flavour,texture and taste.It is really easy to cook.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 1 cup Green peas
- 1 Tomato
- 1 Inion
- 2 Green chilly
- 2 tsp Pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- Curry leaves, a few
- Salt, to taste
- Water, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Gather and prep all your ingredients before you begin.
Step 2
In a pressure cooker add beans,tomato,green chilly,onion,turmeric powder and pepper powder.
Step 3
Add enough water and salt to taste.
Step 4
Pressure cook the beans for 5 whistles.
Step 5
Green peas pepper curry is ready to serve,have it with hot puttu.
Tip
Coconut oil and curry leaves at the very end, off the heat, give the curry its characteristic Kerala aroma. Never skip this final step.
