Grape Juice Punch
A refreshing drink that cools you down on a hot Kerala afternoon. Made with fresh ingredients and served chilled, it is the kind of thing you keep refilling without realising.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 1 kg Black grapes
- 2 nos Robusta banana
- 1/2 litre Vanila Ice creeam
- 2 cup Sugar
- 6 glass Water
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing grape juice punch, first boil grapes with water and sugar.
Step 2
Boil it for 15 minutes. Mash and strain the juice.
Step 3
Get half of the juice and chopped banana and blend well.
Step 4
Add ice cream and blend again.
Step 5
Add the other half of juice and refrigerate.
Step 6
Serve chilled. Grape juice punch is ready.
Tip
When the recipe says "medium heat," it means medium. Kerala cooking is not about high-flame drama — most of the work happens at a patient, steady temperature.
