Fried Banana Balls
This is a great recipe of fried banana balls and a lovely alternative to banana cake.The main ingredient of this recipe is mysore banana and it gives a natural sweetness to this recipe.You can have it as a tea time snack with a cup of hot tea or coff.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 3 Mysore banana
- 1 cup Maida
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 2 Cardamom
- Salt pinch
- Oil — for deep frying
Preparation
Step 1
Put sugar and cardamom in a blender and make into powder.
Step 2
Add the sliced bananas into the powdered sugar and make into a fine paste.
Step 3
Pour this into a bowl.
Step 4
Add maida and salt.
Step 5
Mix it well.No need to add water.Add water only if required.
Step 6
Heat oil for fry in hot oiling.put a small spoon of batter in the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
Step 7
Fried banana balls are ready.
Tip
Coconut oil is the default cooking fat in Kerala kitchens. It adds a depth of flavour that other oils simply cannot match in these recipes.
