Fish Tawa Fry
Fish Tawa fry is a popular dish across all sea-food joints.The fish is crispy from the exterior and succulent from within. The taste is tangy, spicy and the subtle flavor coming from the fish.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 1/2 kg Cleaned Fish
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- Salt, to taste
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/2 cup Besan powder
- 1 tsp Kabab masala
Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl mix chili powder,turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste.
Step 2
Add besan powder,salt and rice powder.
Step 3
Add kabab masala and water to this and mix all well.mix fish in this and marinate for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Pour oil into a kadai and heat it and fry for 10 minutes until it is golden brown.
Step 5
Now fish tawa fry is ready to serve.
Tip
A heavy-bottomed pan or cast iron skillet gives you the best results for a proper Kerala fry. Thin pans burn the spices before the meat dries.
