Egg Roast
an easy to prepare egg dish that goes well with Appam, Porotta, almost anything. A spicy and dish, very nutritious and wholesome. unique and special with boiled eggs cooked in a spicy onion mixture.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 3 nos Hard boiled Eggs
- 3 nos Onion large
- 2 tsp Chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
- Salt, to taste
- Oil to fry
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing Egg Roast, cut onion length wise.
Step 2
Warm the oil in a pan.
Step 3
Add chopped onion and cook until it turns golden in colour.
Step 4
Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and garam masala powder. cook well.
Step 5
Add boiled eggs and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 6
Transfer the contents to a serving bowl.
Step 7
Goes well with Appam, Chappathi, Pathiri, Pooris etc.
Tip
The final handful of curry leaves should go in right at the end, off the heat — they should crackle and crisp in the residual heat.
