Egg Masala
Its a curry which can be taken with all main dishes - egg masala.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- Boiled egg 4 or 5
- Onion 2
- Green chilly 3
- Tomato 1
- Curd 1 table spoon
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Ginger 1 inch piece
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Red chilly powder 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 2 tsp
- Salt and water, to taste
- Oil, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Mix the egg with curd,1 tsp of chilly powder and turmeric powder.
Step 2
Heat a pan add oil and cook onion,green chilly,ginger,garlic well.
Step 3
When it gets brawn add tomato and cook well.
Step 4
Next, add all the rest masalas and give it a good stir,then add little water to it.
Step 5
When it gets boiled add the egg to it.
Step 6
Then mix the gravy with egg carefully.
Step 7
When it gets boiled,off the flame,and its ready to serve.
Tip
Frying the boiled eggs briefly before adding to the curry gives them a golden skin that holds up better in the gravy.
