Easy Microwave Potato Poriyal
A traditional preparation from Kerala that balances flavour, texture, and aroma in the way that only home cooking can. No two households make it exactly the same, and that is the point.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 4 nos Potatoes chopped into small cubes, large
- 2 tsp Chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt, to taste
- Ginger - 1 ts — optional
- Curry leaves a, a few
- 4 tsp Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Get a microwavable glass dish and add the oil.
Step 2
Add all the other ingredients except potatoes and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 3
Add the potato cubes and Stir everything together thoroughly till they are well-coated with the masala mixture.
Step 4
Microwave (uncovered) for about 12 minutes, stirring at intervals.
