Dates Cake
This is a yet a simple to prepare cake. Dates has lots of nutritonal benefits, especially rich in iron content. This will be the best evening time tea snack for all of us.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 11 Dates
- 1 cup Wheat flour Aatta
- 5 Egg
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 Tbs Raisins
- Oil, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Soak dates for 1 hour and remove seeds.
Step 2
Grind the dates with one egg and sugar.
Step 3
Mix the grinded mixture with 4 eggs and beat it.
Step 4
Stir in the flour with egg mixture thoroughly.don’t beat it.
Step 5
Add 1tbs oil and mix it.
Step 6
Convert it in to a non-stick vessel and let it go for 5-10 minutes in low flame.
Step 7
Garnish it with raisins.
Step 8
Serve it as an evening snack.
Tip
When working with jaggery, always melt and strain it first. Even the best quality jaggery has some grit that needs to be removed.
