Coconut Chicken Fry
Coconut Chicken Fry in Naadan Style With Step by Step Pictures.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- Chicken : 150 gm
- Pepper : 2 tsp
- Vinegar : 1 tsp
- Corn flour : 2 tsp
- Onion : 1 no (chopped
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
- 3 nos Green chillies — slit
- Curry leaves, a few
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- ½ tsp Garam masala
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 2 tsp Chilli garlic sauce
- 4 tbsp Coconut — grated
- Curry leaves, a few
- ½ tsp Chilli powder
- ½ tsp Coriander powder
- Salt a pinch
Preparation
Step 1
Mix pepper powder, vinegar and little salt with chicken.
Step 2
Add little water and cook chicken. Water should be completed evaporated and the pepper should stick to the chicken pieces.3) Mix grated coconut, chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. Set aside for frying.
Step 3
Now mix the cooked chicken pieces with corn flour. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces.
Step 4
Drain them and blot the excess oil in a tissue paper.5)Keep the chicken pieces aside. Meanwhile, heat a tbsp of oil in a pan.6)Add crushed garam masala, ginger-garlic paste and fry it in low flame.7)Add onion, green chillies and fry again. Add chilli powder, coriander and cumin powder.
Step 5
Cook for a minute and add chilli garlic sauce.9)Add chicken and fry again.10)At the same time, in a kadai, heat oil and fry the coconut mixture.
Step 6
Add this mixture into chicken and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 7
Make it a dry fry.13)Coconut chicken fry is ready.
Tip
Marinate for at least 30 minutes if you can — the spices penetrate deeper and the chicken stays juicier.
