Chocolate (Cocoa)
Homemade Chocolate (Cocoa) is a melt in mouth sweet that can be easily prepared with very few ingredients. With no artificial flavors and ingredients Chocolate(Cocoa) is a healthy sweet that you can treat even your little ones with.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 1 cup All purpose flour Maida
- 3/4 cup Dalda
- 11/2 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1 tsp Cocoa powder heaped
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing Chocolate (Cocoa) first melt dalda in a pan.
Step 2
Add maida and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 3
Add cocoa powder and Stir everything together thoroughly. Set aside.
Step 4
Dissolve sugar in 1/2 cup of water and boil, till it reaches one thread consistency.
Step 5
Add the cocoa mixture into the boiling sugar syrup.
Step 6
Stir everything together thoroughly the whole thing and stir, till it starts to thicken.
Step 7
Pour the above mix into a plate greased with dalda.
Step 8
Allow it to cool and then cut Chocolate (Cocoa) into pieces.
Tip
Do not rush the onion and shallot frying. The difference between pale onions and properly browned onions is the difference between a flat dish and a flavourful one.
