Chicken Pottitherichathu
Its a nombu thura special snack and it can be as a side dish also.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- Chicken 1/2 kg
- Chilly powder 2
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Salt, to taste
- Cornflour 3 tsp
- Green chilly 4
- Lemon 1
- Bread crumps, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Mix all ingredients except cornflour and breadcrumps.
Step 2
Then mix with cornflour.
Step 3
After mixing set aside for 1 hour.
Step 4
Mix with bread crumps.
Step 5
After mixing.
Step 6
Heat a pan put oil and when its hot fry the chicken.
Step 7
When its cooked well transfer it to the casserole.
Step 8
Serve while still hot.
Tip
Bone-in chicken gives a richer, more flavourful gravy than boneless. The marrow flavours the curry as it cooks.
