Chicken Fry With Red Chilli Flakes

Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 500 g Chicken — cut into small pieces
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Kashmiri Chilly powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala powder
- 1 tsp Fennel seeds
- 2 tsp Red chilly flakes
- 2 tsp Lime juice
- 1 tbsp Maida / all purpose flour
- Curry leaves, a few
- Oil — for frying
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Marinate the cleaned chicken with all the above ingredients and set aside for 15 - 20 minutes.
Step 2
Fry the chicken pieces on low heat till it turns crisp and brown colour.
Step 3
The chicken fry with ghee rice /steamed rice.
Tip
Bone-in chicken gives a richer, more flavourful gravy than boneless. The marrow flavours the curry as it cooks.
